Opening of the 2023 HDBank Futsal Championship: Thai Son Bac drew, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa won the opening match
On the afternoon of March 19, the first leg of the Futsal HDBank National Championship 2023 officially opened. In the opening match, Thai Son Bac and Hanoi drew 2-2 after a dramatic match at Mỹ Đình Indoor Athletics Arena, thereby sharing point. Meanwhile in Nha Trang, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa started smoothly with a 3-0 victory over away team GFDI Song Han.

The opening match of the Futsal HDBank National Championship 2023 between Thai Son Bac and Hanoi received much anticipation from the spectator. Not only is the “derby” match of Capital’s futsal, the match is also the debut of the Hanoi rookie.
And the surprise happened when the team that was rated lower compared to Thai Son Bac had a goal to take the lead in the 5th minute when Nguyen Nhan Nam escaped to catch Huynh Tan Luc’s pass before defeating the goalkeeper Truong Van Thanh in the face-to-face situation.
However, Hanoi could not maintain the advantage when facing the strong pressure from Thai Son Bac. After many efforts to attack, Thai Son Bac equalized the score 1-1 thanks to Tu Minh Quang before the end of the first half.
In the second half, Thai Son Bac continued to control the game and continuously besieged the Hanoi goal. However, Hanoi once shocked the opponent with a goal to take the lead 2-1 in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, the weakness of experience made Hanoi equalized just 1 minute later. Power-play tactics opened the door for Le Quang Vinh to cushion the ball close to the wall, setting a 2-2 draw for Thai Son Bac.
In the remaining match of today’s competition taking place at Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa responded to the cheers of the home crowd with a 3-0 victory at GFDI Song Han. Tran Minh Tuan is the shining face of the match when he is the author of all 3 goals against the away team.
