The Vietnam U17 Women’s National Team has arrived in Germany to begin their training camp at Borussia Dortmund
After a flight departing from Hanoi at 11:00 PM on September 9, with a transit in Turkey and arriving at Dusseldorf Airport at 9:30 AM local time on September 10, the Vietnam U17 Women’s National Team, led by Coach Okiyama Masahiko, officially arrived in Germany. They began their training camp as part of the “Bundesliga Dream” program.

As soon as they stepped out of the airport, the entire team was warmly welcomed by representatives from the Bundesliga and Borussia Dortmund club, creating a friendly and warm atmosphere on their first day in Germany — a country renowned for its modern football infrastructure and top-tier football culture worldwide.
According to the plan, the Vietnam U17 Women’s Team will stay in Dortmund until September 16. During this period, the team will participate in intensive training sessions, combined with direct exchange and learning opportunities with coaches, experts, and players from Borussia Dortmund. This is not only a chance for the young athletes to accumulate match experience and refine their tactical skills, but also an opportunity to immerse themselves in a professional international football environment, thereby enhancing their resilience and confidence for their future development journey.
The training camp in Germany, based on the cooperation between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the German Football Association (DFB), is expected to serve as a significant stepping stone. It aims to help the U17 young players build a solid foundation, paving the way toward greater achievements on the continental stage.
