AFF sent condolence Letter to VFF on Typhoon Molave

Today 2nd Nov, AFF President-Major General Khiev Sameth sent a AFF sent condolence Letter to VFF share the pain that this typhoon has compounded the misery of the Vietnamese people who are already struggling with catastrophic floods

In the letter, Mr. Khiev Sameth said: “We are saddened to learn of the tragic loss of life, and the injury and destruction caused by Typhoon Molave. We share your pain that this typhoon has compounded the misery of the Vietnamese people who are already struggling with catastrophic floods.

On behalf of the AFF Council, please accept our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. We would also like to wish the injured a speedy recovery. The people of Vietnam will be in our thoughts and prayers. The precautionary measures coupled with the swift response of the Vietnam government have mitigated the typhoon’s impact. The Vietnamese have always demonstrated resilience and tenacity in the face of adversity. We are confident that your people will pull together and rebuild their lives to emerge stronger.
