The cast for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 was finalised following the completion of the group stage on Sunday.
Group D: Japan defeat Vietnam as both advance
Japan beat Vietnam 2-0 to book their place in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 quarter-finals on Sunday. Japan finished as the Group D winners while Vietnam, despite the defeat, also advanced as they pipped Saudi Arabia to the runners-up spot, with all three teams finishing on six points.
Group D: Vietnam too strong for Korea Republic
Vietnam produced their best to defeat Korea Republic 5-1 in Group D of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 on Wednesday.
Draw sets stage for Kuwait 2022
Reigning champions Islamic Republic of Iran were drawn in Group C of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Kuwait 2022 on Thursday. The 12-time winners will face Lebanon, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia in the September 27 to October 8, 2022 Finals, to be hosted by Kuwait for the first time.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), after discussions with the Kuwait Football Association and all relevant parties, has decided to further postpone the AFC Futsal Championship Kuwait 2020 and it will now be held in 2021.
