The Thailand U17 Women’s National Team has arrived in Hanoi, ready to play a friendly match against the Vietnam U17 Women’s National Team
On the afternoon of April 1st, the Thailand U17 Women’s National Team arrived in Hanoi, ready for the international friendly match against the Vietnam U17 Women’s National Team, which will take place at 3:00 PM on April 3rd at the People’s Police Academy football field.
Under the guidance of head coach Thidara Wiwasukhu, the 23 players of the Thailand U17 Women’s National Team had their first training session on the afternoon of the same day to get familiar with the field and weather conditions. During the 2-hour session at the People’s Police Academy training ground, the visiting players spent a significant amount of time warming up thoroughly with the fitness coach before moving on to tactical training.
According to the schedule, the Thailand U17 Women’s National Team representatives will attend a technical meeting and exchange information before the match, which will be held on the morning of April 2nd at the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). The official training session for the visiting team will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the afternoon of April 2nd at the People’s Police Academy football field.
The international friendly match between the Vietnam U17 Women’s National Team and the Thailand U17 Women’s National Team is part of an exchange activity within the framework of the Vietnam – Thailand Friendship Association program (2022 – 2027). The event aims to strengthen the friendly and traditional relations between the two countries, Vietnam and Thailand, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations (1976 – 2026).
To prepare for this friendly match, the Vietnam U17 Women’s National Team officially gathered on March 28th with 24 players, under the leadership of head coach Okiyama Masahiko from Japan, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
