U23 Vietnam arrived to Phnom Penh, ready to start the AFF U23 Championship journey
In the afternoon of Feb 11, U23 Vietnam include 27 players under the guidance of head coach Dinh The Nam travelled to Cambodia for the AFF U23 Championship 2022.

At Phnom Penh international airport, the team was welcomed by the organizers, arranging a separate bus to pick up and took to the separate immigration clearance area. Before boarding the bus to the hotel, the members of U23 Vietnam were given a Covid-19 test according to the regulations of the Cambodian government and all had negative results.
After that, U23 Vietnam was arranged by the host with 2 buses along with the car to lead the group to move to the Phnom Penh hotel. To ensure the prevention of Covid-19, all luggage and equipment of the team were disinfected by the medical team arranged by the Cambodian side at the hotel. The organizers have also arranged pre-ordered lunch boxes in front of the room for team members to have their own dinner. Each member of U23 Vietnam is also arranged in a separate room.
As planned, the U23 Vietnam team will have the first training session in Cambodia tomorrow afternoon (February 12). However, the training session only took place when the Cambodian health agency informed the negative result of Covid-19 through the RT-PCR test method.
