From April 16 to May 1, 2022, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club (HAGL) participated in the AFC Champions League with Yokohama F.Marinos Club (Japan), Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (Korea) and Sydney FC (Australia).
