Opening ceremony of AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate coaching course
On the morning of August 27, at Thai Son Nam Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City opened the AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate coaching course.

This is the first futsal course for female coaches held in Vietnam. This shows the interest of the VFF in developing the female ability in football in general and futsal in particular. The 20 trainees attending the course have all competed in futsal and are currently participating in futsal training, including former player Tran Thi Thuy Trang.
Attending the opening of the course were Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung – Deputy Director of TSN Sports Joint Stock Company, Vice President of the gymnasium; Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy – Vice President of Thai Son Nam Gymnasium; Mr. Ngo Le Bang – Technical Director of Thai Son Nam Futsal Club, Course Instructor; Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Khiet – Coach of Thai Son Nam Club, Course Instructor; Mr. Mai Anh Hoang – Representative of Vietnam Football Federation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Instructor Ngo Le Bang thanked the VFF for trusting and appointing him and other lecturers. Ngo Le Bang shared: “This is a special course for female coaches. This shows the interest of VFF in developing women’s football in general and futsal in particular. Once again, I would like to thank the VFF and Thai Son Nam Club for their cooperation in organizing this special course.
On behalf of the students, class president Nguyen Thi Truc Duyen thanked VFF and the instructors, and promised to complete the course well.
On behalf of the host, Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung also thanked the VFF for the trust in choosing Thai Son Nam to co-organize the course. “Futsal currently only has the highest futsal course L3 and the Vietnamese futsal instructor course. Hopefully, Vietnam’s first female futsal class will continue to be held,” said Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung.
Representative of the VFF, Mr. Mai Anh Hoang thanked the lecturers for arranging the time to participate in the teaching, and also thanked Thai Son Nam Gymnasium for hosting the course. “This is a special course, the first one organized by the Vietnam Football Federation, where the coaches are all doing female futsal and in the future will continue to train exclusively for female coaches. Wish the coaches complete the course as well as continue to improve English because this is the bridge to help the coach update knowledge from international football “- Mr. Mai Anh Hoang said.
