Over the course of two weeks, in Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, the players will have valuable opportunities to train, compete and develop in one of the most modern football environments in Europe.

Head coach Okiyama Masahiko (Japan) emphasized that this training camp has three main objectives: to learn from world-class German football through competitive matches; to experience foreign culture, customs, climate and adapt to long international trips with time differences in order to grow stronger as players; and to actively engage in international exchanges, making friends with peers from different football backgrounds. He further stressed that overseas training camps, especially in Europe where time differences are significant, offer invaluable experiences when players are still young and highly adaptable. This is also a great opportunity for them to directly experience world-class football in Germany – the homeland of football – and achieve significant growth as future national team players.

The Japanese coach also sent a message to his players, encouraging them to embrace challenges, accept both setbacks and successes, and use those experiences to achieve maturity in football as well as in life.

With the kind support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam, the team members have been granted visas and are ready to embark on a promising journey.
