Dung is a very good goalkeeper, however, Singapore, they have the advantage of the high-pitched play, therefore I chose Van Toan who is more suitable. Other personnel changes come from the competitive density of the matches. We have to change to help the players avoid overloading and reduce the risk of injury”.
The victory 1-0 over Singapore helps Vietnam have 12 points while the other two opponents (Philippines and Thailand) have 9 points. In the next match with Thailand on 5th Dec, even loss for Thailand 0-1, U22 Vietnam still can go into the semi-final. In case of losing with more goals, Vietnam will keep going if Indonesia cannot defeat Laos at the same time match.
