AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Thailand 2026 Draw finalised
Bangkok: The 12 contenders aiming to lift the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 crown learnt their Group Stage opponents following the Official Draw in Bangkok on Monday.
The teams were divided into three groups for the tournament which will take place between April 1 and 18, 2026.
Thailand, hosting the tournament for a second time, were drawn in Group A alongside China PR, Vietnam and debutants Bangladesh.
Group B will see reigning champions DPR Korea being challenged by two-time winners Korea Republic, Uzbekistan and Jordan.
Japan, who have won the competition a record six times, head Group C – with Australia, Chinese Taipei and India also hoping to advance to the next stage.
The top two teams from each group and two best second-placed sides will advance to the quarter-finals.
The top four finishers at the Finals will qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026, with DPR Korea the defending champions.
