Closing ceremony of the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course
On the afternoon of Dec 12, the closing ceremony of the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course 2022 was held at Vietnam Football Federation’s headquarter.
Attending were Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF’s General Secretary; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF’s Deputy General Secretary; Mr. Koshida Takeshi – VFF’s Technical Director; Mr. Akira Ijiri – Head coach of the national youth women’s team, instructor of the course; Mr. Luu Quang Dien Bien – VFF’s Director of Grassroots, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Koshida Takeshi – VFF’s Technical Director, responsible for the expertise of the training course shared: “As a classroom supervisor and VFF’s Technical Director, I am very glad the course ended successfully. Together with instructor Akira Ijiri, I imparted useful knowledge to you. I was able to observe you practice in the last 2 sessions of the course and felt very happy to witness everyone’s progress.”
As the main instructor of the course, Mr. Akira Ijiri thanked AFC, VFF and the organizing committee members for working together to create the best conditions for the course. “This is a quite special course with a long gap between the two modules. Therefore, I have also thought and calculated to convey the best knowledge to you. I spent a long time in Vietnam and spent 3 years coaching courses, through which I gained many close friends and colleagues”, Mr. Akira Ijiri expressed.
Representing the trainees, coach Nguyen Thanh The sent his thanks to AFC, VFF and the instructors for organizing the course: “Over the past 11 days, we have accumulated a lot of useful knowledge. Hopefully the coaches will be able to convey this knowledge to their players at the club.”
As one of two female trainees in the course, coach Nguyen Khanh Thu affirmed that being able to experience both the role of an athlete in the classroom and being a coach who can lead the class to guide students is a source of inspiration for the students, thereby spreading and applying this knowledge, contributing to the development of Vietnamese football.
Speaking to summarize the course, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation congratulated the students on completing the course: “Today is the day that marks the completion of another AFC course with the teaching of from passionate instructors of Japanese football. In the future, coaches will need to continue to participate in higher courses to accumulate and improve their abilities. If Vietnamese football wants to achieve even higher achievements, it needs the joint efforts of coaches from clubs.”
Following module 1 held in April 2022, module 2 of the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course 2022 with the participation of 21 trainees took place at VFF’s headquarters (Hanoi) and Vietnam Youth Football Training Center from December 1 to December 11, 2023.
