On behalf of the Ministry of Cultures, Sports, Tourism leaders, Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Thai awarded certificate of merit for the Executive Committee of VFF Term V who have contributed to the national football development in recent years.

Mr Vu Manh Hai and Mr Nguyen Van Mui received certificates of merit of Asian Football Confederation.

The members of VFF Executive Committee Term V took a photo with Deputy Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan also glorified and took photos with head coaches of men and women national football teams, H.Calisto and Tran Van Phat.

The Congress approved the candidate list for VFF Executive Committee Term VI and candidate list for Inspector Committee, approved election regulations

And conducted the election of Executive Committee (23 members from list 34 candidate delegates) and elected VFF Inspector Committee Term VI

Based on the election result of VFF Executive Committee Term VI, Congress approved the candidate list and elected the key positions of VFF Term VI

The key positions of leaders term V period 2009-2013 have been recognised by the congress

President Nguyen Trong Hy reelected VFF President Term VI period 2009-2013

Mr Pham Ngoc Vien is elected as the VFF Vice-president of Professional Affair

Mr Le Hung Dung is elected as the VFF Vice-president of Sponsor Financial

Mr Nguyen Lan Trung is elected as the VFF Vice-president in charge of Communication – Foreign Affairs

With the introduction of President Nguyen Trong Hy, the congress voted to accept the position VFF General Secretary is Mr Tran Quoc Tuan

The 6th VFF Congress is successfully ending, with the contagion of federations, the clubs hope that the VFF Executive Committee period 2009-2013 will create the new turning point, towards the integration and sustainable development of Vietnamese football
