AFCU20WAC 2024: U20 Vietnam Women’s team vs U20 DPR Korea’s team: 0-6
Facing such a strong opponent like U20 of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, once again the young Vietnamese female players faced many difficulties just like the match against Japanese opponent.

The DPR Korean U20 women’s team is not too difficult to dominate. In the 3rd minute, from a free kick outside the 16m50 area, Chae Un Yong scored the opening goal. Just 2 minutes later, goalkeeper Le Thi Thu found the ball in the net for the second time, the goal was scored by Min Kyong Jin.
At the end of the first half, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea U20 women’s team took a 5-0 lead and the following 3 goals were all scored by Pak Mi Ryong.
The situation in the second half did not change much as DPR Korea U20 continued to dominate the game. In the 61st minute, U20 DPR Korea only played with 10 people, when captain Han Hong Ryon received the second yellow card and had to leave the field, after a dangerous tackle. However, the opponent still had 1 more goal, increasing the score to 6-0, thanks to Hyon Ji Hyang.
Losing the final score 0-6, the U20 Vietnam women’s team ranked last in the table without any points.
