Being assessed as having a stronger capacity, it is not surprising that the reigning runner-up Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City confidently organized consecutive attacks towards Cao Bang’s goal right after the opening whistle. However, they were dealt a big blow to the spirit when the opponent conceded a goal in the 11th minute. In a coordinated attack right in front of goalkeeper Ho Van Y’s goal, Cao Bang players had arranged for Tri Nhan to open the scoring for the home team.

However, with the bravery of the leading futsal team in Vietnam, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City soon regained the balance less than 1 minute later when Thinh Phat received a favorable pass from Thai Huy before buffering the ball to the net, equalizing 1-1.

The goal helped the spirit of Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City to be more excited and continuously deployed attacks towards Cao Bang’s goal. In the last seconds of the first half, from a corner, Thinh Phat had a goal to increase the score to 2-1 for Thai Son Nam.

In the second half, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City continued to take the initiative and continuously pressed, pushing Cao Bang players into a very difficult position to support. However, the Thai Son Nam strikers in Ho Chi Minh City could not convert the opportunities into goals. The score of 2-1 was maintained until the end of the match.

With this result, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City owns 5 points after 3 rounds and significantly increase the position in the rankings.

In the remaining match taking place today, defending champion Sahako showed superior strength in the confrontation with Tan Hiep Hung and won with a score of 5-1.

In the first minute, Sahako had a goal from Phi Tien’s direct shot, after Khong Dinh Hung’s corner kick. The one-way game continued when Cong Hai then raised the score to 2-0 in the 5th minute; then Nhat Trung continued to finish to help Sahako take a 3-0 lead in the 11th minute, after Dinh Hung’s pass. When the first half was only 5 minutes, Tan Hiep Hung was forced to play power-play to change the game and captain Tan Dong had a goal to shorten the score to 1-3 for the home team.

In later situations, the players of Tan Hiep Hung continued to exert pressure, but power-play was also a double-edged sword. So in the 20th minute, goalkeeper Quoc Tam had a shot from home, the ball went straight into the net of Tan Hiep Hung to raise the score to 4-1 for Sahako, much to the surprise of the opponent.

Due to the lead, it is not surprising that Tan Hiep Hung is eager to shorten the score. Even they played power-play when the second half was only 5 minutes, but it was still not enough to make it difficult for Sahako. In the 13th minute, Sahako continued to raise the score to 5-1 from an inaccurate passing situation of the player on the Tan Hiep Hung side. This is also the result of the match.

With this victory, Sahako players got their second victory in the tournament, thereby temporarily leading the race with 7 points after 3 rounds.
