The opening ceremony of the AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate Coach Course
This morning (June 25), the AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate Coach Course commenced at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Attending the opening ceremony of the AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate Coach Course were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Chairman of the Futsal Committee, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – General Secretary of the VFF, Mr. Ngo Le Bang – Course Instructor, Mr. Huynh Tan Quoc – Assistant Instructor, along with 20 trainees from various localities and futsal training centers in the Northern region.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tu, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), affirmed: “VFF is currently focusing on developing Futsal in the Northern region. Previously, Futsal was predominantly developed in the South, such as Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Khanh Hoa. Recently, Thai Son Bac Futsal Club has been actively selecting the next generation of athletes, and it’s gratifying that this event has attracted the interest of many talented young individuals. By organizing the AFC Futsal Level 1 Coach Training Course in Hanoi, with coaches from various Northern localities, VFF hopes that the trainees will bring back knowledge to their clubs and centers, helping young people understand and get closer to Futsal.”
Also speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Le Bang, the course instructor, shared: “The increasing number of Futsal courses demonstrates the Vietnam Football Federation’s (VFF) and Futsal practitioners’ dedication. With the growing number of players in the North, Vietnam’s Futsal landscape will become much more diverse. I would like to express my gratitude to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and VFF for their trust and appointment of myself and assistant instructor Huynh Tan Quoc to teach this course.”
Mr. Huynh Tan Quoc, the assistant instructor of the course, also expressed his thoughts: “I am feeling the positive energy from the trainees. I hope that through this course, they will gain solid knowledge about Futsal. By participating in this course, they are also embarking on their mission to develop Futsal in Vietnam, together training players and laying the groundwork for the formation of more Futsal teams in the future.”
On behalf of the trainees, class monitor Vu Ngoc Quan expressed gratitude to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the instructors for providing the opportunity to participate in the specialized Futsal training course in Hanoi. He also affirmed their commitment to fulfilling all requirements set by the instructors to successfully complete the course.
The AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate Coach Course will take place from June 25th to June 30th, 2024, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in Hanoi.
