The sponsorship Announcement Ceremony of Futsal HDBank National Championship 2020 and Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020 was held on the afternoon of 26th May 2020.

Delegate included: Mr. Cao Van Chong – VFF Vice President, Permanent Member Tran Anh Tu; VOV Deputy Direct-General Tran Minh Hung; HDBank Deputy Direct-General Le Thanh Trung and the reprehensive of other agencies.
Due to the effect of Covid-19, these tournaments had to postpone. 12 teams attend the Futsal HDBank National Championship 2020 and spread to 2 periods. The first period will take place from 1st to 9th June at Nha Trang University Arena (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province), with the attending of 6 teams including Sanna Khánh Hòa, Tân Hiệp Hưng, Cao Bằng, Quảng Nam, Vietfootball, and Hưng Gia Khang Đắk Lắk. The teams will play a single round-robin format to find out 4 best teams join into the 2nd period.
The second period has the attending of 10 teams included Top 6 of the last season: Thái Sơn Nam, Sahako, SS.Khánh Hòa, Sài Gòn FC, Đà Nẵng, Thái Sơn Bắc and 4 best teams of the 1st round. The second round will play two-legged ties. The first leg of the 2nd period takes place from 14th June to 5th July at Nha Trang University Arean (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province). The second leg of this period takes place from 5th Sep to 26th Sep at Lãnh Bình Thăng Arena (11th District, Ho Chi Minh City).

Top 6 of this tournament will direct join into the second period of the next season however only Top 5 can directly join into the 2nd period of Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020. The Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020 will take place from 5th to 20th Oct at Đắk Lắk Arena. According to regulation, the champion of Futsal National Championship will reprehensive for Vietnam to join the AFC Futsal Clubs Championship and the runner-up will join the AFF Futsal Clubs Championship.
The champion will be awarded 500 million, the runner-up receives 200 million and the third-place team receives 100 million.
Follow the success of season 2019, besides the Futsal national tournaments, the organizer continues to hold the tournaments companion for students from the universities and colleges in the South.
