General Department of Sport and Physical Training and VFF met the Vietnam National Women’s team before coming to SEA Games 30.

(Hanoi, 21st Nov) Deputy Director of General Department of Sport and Physical Training Mr. Tran Duc Phan and Vice President of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Mr. Cao Van Chong had a meeting with the Vietnam National Women’s team before this team go to the Philippines to participate SEA Games 30.

In this meeting, there is also the attending of Mr. Mai Ba Hung – Deputy Director of Department of Culture and Sports (Ho Chi Minh city). On behalf of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Deputy Director Tran Duc Phan sent his best wishes to all members of the National Women’s Team and highly appreciated the thorough preparation of the team for this 30th SEA Games. Mr. Tran Duc Phan also stated that the General Department of Sport and Physical Training will create favorable conditions for both national teams (U22 Vietnam and the national women’s team) to play in the Philippines. “In the SEA Games 30, Vietnam sports delegation set the ambition to reach the top 3. Two football national teams are the members of the Vietnam Sports team who go earliest. I wish that both teams can get successful and meet the expectation of the supporters”. Mr. Tran Duc Phan said.

Mr. Mai Ba Hung – Deputy Director of Department of Culture and Sports (Ho Chi Minh city) hoped that Vietnam National Women’s team will continue won the 6th Gold medal at this SEA Games.

On behalf of VFF, Vice President Cao Van Chong would like to thank for the attention of the General Department of Sport and Physical Training and leaders of Ho Chi Minh city’s sports to Vietnam National Women’s team. “Women’s team has just won the championship at the AFF Women’s Championship 2019; had the training at Japan to prepare for the SEA Games. VFF expects that all the players will continue to keep solidarity and successful protecting the championship”. Mr. Cao Van Chong said in this meeting.

About the women’s team, on behalf of the Vietnam National Women’s team, head coach Mai Duc Chung thank the Government,  General Department of Sport and Physical Training, VFF, and leaders of Ho Chi Minh city’s sports for the attention about the team. He stated that the players are having the best performance, and ready for competition.

According to the plan, this team will have the final training on 22nd Nov before going to Manila (Philippines) in the afternoon. The flight of head coach Mai Duc Chung’s team will depart at 15:20 from Tan Son Nhat airport (VN3942) and will arrive at 19:10 at Manila airport on the same day.
