Prolific Binh Duong striker Kesley Alves overcame stiff competition from Carlos Rodrigues of Dong Tam Long An to win the 2005 Vietnam League Best Player award recently.
Prolific Binh Duong striker Kesley Alves overcame stiff competition from Carlos Rodrigues of Dong Tam Long An to win the 2005 Vietnam League Best Player award recently.

Kesley set a new scoring record by finding the net 21 times this season and was voted Player of the Month twice. Dong Tam Long An, who clinched both the league title and the National Cup, were named the Best Club while the club?s trainers Henrique Calisto and Huynh Ngoc San walked away with the Best Coaches awards.

The best goalkeeper award went to Dong Tam Long An?s Fabio Santos and Ngoc Linh of Song Da Nam Dinh, who fired nine goals to help his team avoid the drop, was voted Best Young Player.
