Postponement of Draw Ceremonies of U17 and U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2022 Qualifiers Round I
Following requests from several Member Associations to further delay the captioned competitions and taking into consideration the decision of the Bureau of the FIFA Council to cancel both the Women’s youth World Cúp in 2021, the AFC is reviewing the dates for the Qualifiers, possibly to a later period in 2021.

On the afternoon of 27th Sep, the closing ceremony of the AFC ‘C’ Coaching certificate course 2020 with the attending of 24 trainees from clubs/centres around the country was held at the VFF office.
VFF is recognised by AFC as Elite Youth Scheme Full Membership status
On 23rd Sep, AFC sent a letter to declare that VFF has on 22 September 2020 been conferred Full Membership under the AFC Elite Youth Scheme. At the same time, PVF Football Academy is conferred as the Three-Star Academy, which is subject to re-evaluation after three years as per the Article 6 (Renewal) of the AFC Elite Youth Scheme Regulation and Guidelines.

On the morning of 21st Sep, all referees and assistant referees join in the 2nd training program to learn from experiences in the mid-season on the working of assistants and referees work of the Professional National Football Championship 2020 did the physical test. VFF’s leaders join in the FIFA Congress convened remotely for the first time
The 70th FIFA Congress was held at 20h00 on 18th Sep (GMT+7). Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year is the first time FIFA Congress had to do via videoconference to approve important decisions of the world football in the upcoming period. VFF’s delegate joins in the congress included: Permanent Vice President Trần Quốc Tuấn; Vice President Cao Văn Chóng; General Secretary Lê Hoài Anh; and Deputy General Secretary Nguyễn Thanh Hà.
